So it’s been a day and a half since we finished recording our EP and I have become a complete narcissist. I listen to the recordings over and over, and although I cringe at certain parts (I hate listening to myself), I can’t believe it is going to get better once it’s mastered.

I think I speak…

I’m home! I’m done with work, I’ve sent in rent - no more worries for almost two whole weeks. All I have to do is wake up tomorrow morning, get on a plane, fall asleep, and wake up in San Francisco.

…until my first vacation - my first trip outside of this city exceeding four days - since early 2009.

Thank god.
